The Old Blarney Post Office Cafe

In the town of Blarney there is a cafe that reminds me so much of the Whistle Stop Cafe from the book and movie, Fried Green Tomatoes.

From the atmosphere & appearance to the fabulous owner, manageress and staff, this little cafe has a big heart!

I was totally taken with it when I stopped in for a coffee after only two weeks here in Ireland.

It is right on the Blarney Castle route - the tourists literally flood the gates to the castle.
The town square is right outside the door.

Well worth a visit so do pop in if you are in the area :-)
