Dylan's Sausage Pizza

Getting my toddler to eat vegetables is another one of life's little challenges. That's why I decided to get sneaky! He absolutely devoured this pizza for supper  - and below is the recipe :-)

Sausage and Veggie Pizza

Ingredients:
White cheddar cheese
6-8 Cocktail sausages, cooked and sliced into rounds
2 ready-to-bake pizza bases
1 tblsp tomato and herb puree
1 onion
1.5 cups of mixed veggies
3 cloves garlic
1 tblsp olive oil
salt and freshly ground black pepper
Ina Paarman's Chicken Seasoning (Artificial flavouring and MSG Free)

Method:

Spread some of the tomato and herb puree over your pizza bases. Get your toddler to help ;-)
Put onion, veggies, garlic, some salt, and a sprinkle of chicken seasoning into your food processor. Process on high until a very fine consistency.
Spread some of the veggie mix over the pizza base followed by the sausage rounds and plenty of cheddar cheese.
Bake in oven for +_ 15 mins as per instructions on the pizza base packet.
Get your toddler to help slice the pizza and eat it together!
