I am a sucker for entering competitions - and I have won a few :-) So grateful to be blessed with last night's tickets - what a win!
Holy Smoke is situated on Little Hanover Street, Cork and well worth a visit, or two or three...
Below are the pics from the evening & the menu..
We met some wonderful people!
We all sampled, marvelled and ate & drank till our hearts and stomachs were full!
Well done Holy Smoke on an excellent event, well done especially to the chefs in heat of the kitchen, delicious food and whiskey all round.
Sirloin with chimichurri (excellent but nothing's as good as yours Tarnah Blane!) |
Flatiron, mash & bone marrow gravy - divinely rich |
Picanha, roasted aubergine sauce & blue cheese butter (This melted in your mouth!) |
Tomahawk, grilled portabello & sweet potato |
Brownies, cream & whiskey caramel sauce |
