Crawford Art Gallery Cafe

This awesome little cafe in the heart of the city of Cork is a hidden gem! It ticks all the boxes for me :-)
Situated in the Crawford Art Gallery, surrounded by brilliant artworks in a bright, relaxed environment, you really get to take it all in. It was originally started by Myrtle Allen of Ballymaloe House.

The food was fantastic, and quite simply the best Hollandaise sauce I have ever tasted!
The smoked salmon, from a local supplier, Frank Hederman, was outstanding.
I highly recommend a visit.

Perfectly poached eggs on artisan sour dough with Frank Hederman's smoked salmon

Barry's loose leaf tea in a beautiful pot & so happy to have a cup & saucer :-)

Some stunning drawings

My new favourite - sugar cubes
